    Bought to be able to still use iPhone 4 accessories with new iPhone 6. Small end worked with otter box (defender) but not with life proof case.

    I wanted to be able to watch whatever I was streaming in my phone on my TV in an RV. There was no WIFI availability when camping but, My phone had a strong signal. I was able to connect with my phone and plugged it in to the TV with an HDMI cable and didn’t miss one shot of the Masters being streamed on my phone. The lightning adapter could also be connected to charge my phone so it didn’t drain the battery. I’m not a technical genius but it did everything I wanted.

    I purchased this product in store because I didn't trust that similar products from online retailers would work. The product does what it says and i really like that you can charge your device while streaming its display to a monitor.

    Haven't tried Chromecast, but I find this the easiest way to project my iPad to a large screen. HDMI cord with this adapter = beautiful picture.
