    Better setup if you don't need or want the Apple TV and just like to stream from apps and not pay for Xbox live, Apple TV, Netflix or Hulu. A bit overpriced, not a fan of having cables visible but for what I use it for it works great for me.

    My phones case clumsily gives me minimum room to plug in a lightning cable. Due to the pre-set stiffness of the hdmi/lightening cable it is easy to slip right in! I barely have to pay attention!

    Why use an Apple tv when you can use an adapter and plug your tablet or phone into your tv and stream it

    Since you can't install the Chrome browser on iPad2 mini I had to go this route. Works fine. Snagged by the Apple adapter scam again!
