    The Apple manufactured cable is fine - I had to ream out a port on my ipAD case, as it wasn't quite big enough for the cable. As with a lot of Apple products, it was over priced, but it works and that is what ultimately matters.

    Only thing I don’t like and I don’t think it’s the cord - is that you can’t watch direct tv off your phone on a tv using this cord. It’s expensive but all apple products are.

    Works just fine. Very convenient for road trips or when you dont want the kids staring at their screens. Problem: The lightning portion is fairly easy to break, so be careful.
