    The item works but a few times you have to jiggle the cord near, sometimes it doesn't register and will still play the video on the ipad/iphone vs. the TV. Also, seems a bit overpriced but that's normal for Apple cords.

    I got this adapter to play the movies I have on my Ipad on our tv. It seems that it is getting easier to just buy digital copies of movies and not worry about a disc. So I had to find a product that would allow me to do that wth an HDMI plug. It works great for the movies on the Itunes account, full 1080p. But if I access Vudu or another streaming video app I dont really get the full 1080p. I only get the display to be full screen when it plays movies otherwise I only get a half screen in the middle.
