Serves its purpose splendidly! This device, coupled with a nice length of HDMI cables to travel with, connecting to an HDMI port anywhere needed is a breeze!!

The Apple adapter is reliable and works great for connecting your iPhone to an hdmi. A lot of the off brands are not reliable and don’t work with all apps. The 4 stars is only because it’s so expensive. I’ve purchased two in the past couple of years and the price is only going up.

Works great! Use it to watch Netflix in my camper when i have good cell service. Charges the phone and outputs the screen to the tv.

This little connector works great for connecting your iPhone or iPad to your TV. Picture is great and feeds the sound system too. I little pricey when not on sale.

The apple lightning digital A/V adapter works great for anyone wanting to stream movies from their iPad to HDMI to your Tv. It also allows you to charge your device while watching movie. Great product.

I recommend this product because is needed on a daily basis. It allows you see from your on a tv for a bigger and better quality for picture. It is Easy to carry wherever you also get to share with other people so also adapt their phone to big screen I use at church all the time to show movies about God straight from my phone. We wanted an easy way to connect an iPad or iPhone to an HDMI TV with we did not have an Apple TV handy for Airplay. This does the trick and works great. Even a pass through connector to charge your device when connected.

I am using this to watch content from Apple TV on my television, using my iPhone. We opted for the Apple-branded adapter because the cheaper brands had reviews indicating that they did not work consistently or would block certain content. This adapter seems to do what it is intended to do. I have had issues with playback that I can't necessarily blame on the adapter. When streaming content, several times the stream stopped entirely, or the picture went blank and the audio continued. Stopping and restarting the playback resulted in a "There was and error loading the content" message until I unplugged the adapter and reconnected it. This problem could be anything, from my cable, a software bug, or who knows what. But the fact I have to unplug the adapter to fix it makes me suspect that it could have something to do with the adapter. Nonetheless, this adapter works most of the time.

I purchased this adapter to use with my iPhone when making presentations. There were mixed reviews online but I haven't had any issues with it. Very compact, easy to carry, and most importantly, easy to use.

I honestly wish I had purchased something like this years ago. I've seen reviews of off brand products saying that Netlix, Hulu, and other streaming services will not display with the adapter. This product is perfect. Plug in to your phone, connect HDMI cord to the adapter and the TV and you're good to go. You can also connect your lighting charger if you're running low on battery. I live in a rural area and we do not have wifi at our house. With this I am able to watch all of my streamed content in HD on my television, as opposed to my tiny phone screen. Best Apple accessory I've ever purchased.

Though pricey in the Apple product way, this adapter now enables connecting our iPhones and iTablets to our television display with ease. Also great that the adapter allows for charging the source.

Simple to use. I plug one end to my iphone X and the other end to HDMI port on my TV and viola! I can see my phone screen on my TV. I can now watch movies and play music right from my phone.

Just what I needed, this was perfect for connecting my ipad air 2 to my 4k HDTV to watch videos or even playing games and apps on a bigger screen. Price is a little much ($50) but I guess it's somewhat worth it.

Bought this to be able to transfer video stream from iPad/iPhone to my tv. Works great! No issues with sound or picture quality. I thought $50 was a bit steep, but it’s Apple so to be expected!

This is a must have for those needing to connect to a television or projector. I demo technology platforms daily and this allows me to easily show the steps/tools on a larger scale than my iPad.

It's a little expensive, but when you are stuck somewhere and would rather watch you phone content than limited hotel cable tv, it's perfect. I keep this and a small hdmi cable with me when I travel.

I travel a lot so this slows me to hook up to hotel tvs and watch Netflix or what ever I want. Works great. I suggest you get a long lightning cord to use with it so you can charge and play at the same time.
