Was watching football outside on a friends TV with rabbit ears. Wanted to watch another game that was on cable, ran up to BB and picked this up. Worked like a champ. Used my Slingbox to get the cable TV from my house streamed to my phone then HDMI from the adapter to the outside TV. Having the extra lightning port for charging was clutch. Would have sucked my battery dry otherwise! I keep it and a spare HDMI cord in my car for occasions when the tech geek needs to save the day!

One of the downsides of owning an ‘’i’’ device is the dongle nightmare, there should be more options in term of dongle choices, like a VGA plus HDMI dongle, because both of them are separated and in my country (Mexico), both standards are very common in educational settings. I bought an adapter from china and I must say I know why this cost so much, the video output is almost free of lag, the Chinese one stutters with animations and stuff. This allows me to stream videos from my phone to the class via a projector. It works well with all lightning cable devices and when you buy Apple products, have the peace of mind that it will work and work well.

it did the job wanted to watch something from my phone on the tv and it did just that

Nice little adapter from Apple product to TV, just wish that perhaps the cord was longer or that another company produced this at a lower price point.

Great and very easy to use. Really comes in handy when you’re trying to show people things from your phone or iPad onto a much larger screen

It really does what it is supposed to, but is very expensive for just a small cable. But I have found no other cable that does what this does. It works great and even rotates the picture according to which way my phone is oriented and automatically fills the screen. Haven't found anything better or cheaper yet. Please comment if you have. This adapter has allowed me to keep using my radio docks instead buying newer versions with lightning. And I have one in my car so I didn't have to get another cable from the car company for twice the price.

We've used this with our iPad to watch streaming videos and movies through a projector and TV. Excellent picture and sound through the HDMI. Even got 4K.

This is great divise specially when you are traveling so you can connect the iPad or iPhone to the hotel TV to enjoy your videos on a big screen or watch Netflix, highly recommended

Great adaptor. Works great, easy set up. I hooked up my ipad to The TV. A little pricey.

The price is a little high, and sometimes it gets a short from all the weird twisting I put my cords through, but as you can expect with apple products, it's awesome! Your friends will be jealous!

Easy to use and setup. Picture quality is great. Have used this on iPad mini and iPad air with no issues. Small enough to fit in pocket which is nice since we take this to a lot of conferences Worth every penny.

I love this for travel. It lets me do Netflix and iTunes movies on hotel TV's (as long as they have an HDMI input). Works really great with an extra long HDMI cord so I don't have to get up to change shows.

I use this cable to connect my iPhone 6 to my tv and watch Netflix since I don't have a smart tv and it's just so easy to connect the hdmi to this and charge my phone at the same time. Seems to me that the image on the tv is as clear as on my phone I don't have any complaints there and the quality of this accessory feels great. I love my adapter I would definitely recommend this over a chrome cast or firestick which I feel all have their pros and cons but this is just more simple in my opinion.

If you’re looking for a good way to watch your iPhone movies, this adapter is indispensable. Watching movies on your big screen TV or projector is a lot better than watching it on your iPhone or iPad. The picture details are way better than a small phone screen. You’ll enjoy watching your movies a lot!
