    It is a necessary interface from my ipad to the tv. Works good most of the time. Sometime says cable not certified. Then next time it works? I almost brought it back and tried one more time and it worked.

    This adapter is a bit pricey, but nice to have. Perfect for presentations and for watching a movie on the tv from the iPad. A great option if you don't have streaming to tv.

    Used this on our trip to Hawaii because our hotel had no access to cable channels other than regular channels. Was able to connect my iPad to the TV with an HDMI cable and this single and was able to watch Netflix, Prime and others except Directv. Very happy with the results and this will be in our travel essentials going forward.
