Works great should get 12foot hdmi only problem is if you don’t keep device cord from twisting over time it will not work they need to beef up the wire from phone to hdmi port

I needed to display an iPhone 7 to a projector at work for team training purposes. The projector had an HDMI port and I was able to quickly connect this adapter to the iPhone 7's lightening port, then connect an HDMI cable to the adapter and the other end to the projector. Works exactly as expected! I've also used it to connect to monitors as well. This should work the same for any iPhone or iPad with a Lightening port.

It seemed like this could be too good to be true -- being able to view and listen to my apple devices on my big screen TV -- because why isn't everyone doing it? But it works. The adapter allows you to simultaneously charge and connect your device to a display using a (not included) HDMI cable. No special software needed. My only warning: disable text, skype, facebook and other such notifications if you don't want everyone in the room to read.
