Would highly recommend this to anyone that loves Netflix or watching videos etc on their phone. This connects to your TV and makes it great to watch.

This item is little pricey however anything on ur phone will be displayed on your tv usising this cable. Movies, YouTube, pictures etc. awsome

I originally purchased the Lightning A/V Adapter so that I could be a part of the games my grandson plays on my iPad. I can make certain that things are age appropriate and he gets to show off his skills for Grandma! Since then we have used it at home to help a friend order items from an online auction; demonstrate shortcuts in programs; share videos, photos and emails and so much more. Away we can hook up to almost any TV/monitor for presentations to any size group, demonstrations of new software, video chatting, exercises, even watching our favorite programs at the times WE choose. The list goes on!

I bought the Apple - Lightning Digital A/V Adapter - White. The reason I bought it is for presentations I do on the field. The A/V Adapter saved me from headaches like those who do not have an AppleTV. Worth the money and does not require much to do, just plug the adapter on your iPhone or iPad and plug a dual side HDMI cable on the adapter to the TV and you are set to project apps and items from your iPad or iPhone. The adapter comes in handy if you do not plan on buying an AppleTV.

I read many reviews about this type of product. Reviews of similar from other major source were mixed (although their product was less expensive). Reviews of Best Buy product were much better. Also checked with results from an automobile blog regarding attaching this to uconnect system. Nearly all comments were highly positive supporting the concept of buying the Apple product and not a replica. So I bought this one, connected it, and it has worked well now for over a week of constant use.

Works great watch anything from your phone on the tv. way over priced for this simple device in my opinion
