Works great for playing movies on the tv from my phone. I Hooked it up to my phone ran a hdmi to the tv and bam my phone screen was there.

This adapter is great if you want to watch content from your Apple Lighting device to a larger display. My wife teaches and uses an iPad with interactive content, and by using this adapter she can show the whole class. Very versatile and great that you can charge while you are “mirroring” the iPad. It’s also plug and play which is very easy, all you need is an HDMI cable and maybe a charger to be up and running. Only con is now Apple is transitioning to USB-C for connectivity.

Expensive because it's an Apple cable, but wouldn't recommend a 3rd party. Nice to use when camping and play videos from an iPad or iPhone.

Would be 5 stars but this is pricey. This enabled me to use an HDMI cable and watch a movie I have on my IPAD on a TV in my hotel room. With the power port on it, I was able to keep my IPAD charged while watching the movie. Worked great.

This little device works like a charm. It is easy to use and the picture quality is amazing.

This cable is awesome! We travel a lot and love watching our routine t.v. shows, but hotels sometimes don't offer every network and they definitely don't allow you to rewind and forward a show. This cable allows my family to watch our Netflix or Direct t.v. recorded DVR list through any smart t.v. Last Christmas we even got to share our wedding video and scroll through our wedding photos with loved ones who are among the older generation that don't use computers. Having the ability to view everything on something as big as a t.v. is awesome!

This makes linking your apple product up to your TV through HDMI a breeze. The bonus is you can charge your device at the same time as well.

Its as simple as plugging this adapter in to the iPad and the HDMI into the TV. The hardest part is getting the TV to the correct HDMI input (all TVs vary) and nothing to do with this part. I was expecting having to do something on the iPad to enable mirroring the iPad screen, but it just works. I use it for Plex videos downloaded locally. Plex recognizes that it shouldn't play on the iPad screen and just plays on the TV via the adapter.

Helps to connect a screen to my 10 years old’s monitor. Made online learning much easier on the eyes.

We used this in our van to stream Netflix and Disney+ on a long car trip. It charged the phone at the same time.

This product works great, reproducing the ipad video through the HDMI adapter to our display. Allows for iphone charging and computer connection as well.

I tried off brand products but this is the only one that worked for my iPad. Wish the price was more reasonable.

We use it to hook the iPad to a USB port on a TV at a hotel or friends/family house so we can stream Netflix, HBo, etc from our Apps to a TV. Works pretty good, decent quality. Wish it was longer than 8 inches but get a longer USB cable and you'll be fine.
