    I don’t have a smart tv and I don’t have internet, but I wanted to zoom with the family for our Christmas party. I needed to use my phone and project my phone screen up onto my big screen tv. That is exactly what this device did for me.

    Did not even know this thing existed until it was recommended to me by an online Apple blog. Works great. Only one gripe. It display only Full Screen by default. You have to change the display on the device. If you want to eliminate un-necessary image area.

    I couldn't get my iPhone to cast to my TV. It does have an HDMI connector. Picked up this adapter. Plugged it into my phone and connected the HDMI Cable to the adapter. I'm streaming to my TV from my phone. Great clarity. Even after 2 hours of usage I would think my phone would get warm. It did not.
