Having this type of adapter makes life easy when traveling and want to watch a movie off your phone.

This was a birthday gift and the recipient is very happy with it. It does exactly what he wanted it to do.

Probably the product itself is designed to provide HDMI output at 1080P resolution. However do not expect third party media to be cast to that level of definition. Either Apple IOS or Content Providers filters allow only low resolution output. For example, content acquired via Directv Now Cannot be displayed in full HDTV screen when cast via HDMI adapter. So fine for home photos and videos but not fully dependable for third party content.

I use this along with a HDMI to composite adapter to stream netflix in our car. Works great, just apple expensive.

This is a plug and play item. It does what it says. I use it for on demand exercise videos. Works great.

After taking numerous photos on my IPad, I wanted to display them using a TV screen or LCD projector for presentations purposes. This device proved to be just what I needed. This is a great device! I have an Apple IPhone & can use this adapter to watch movies, etc, from the phone to my big Samsung television. Yellowstone is a great series & I watch it from iPhone to television by using the adapter.

I had planned on using my laptop with the HDMI cable I also bought. I bought this adapter as a second option and glad I did I been using my iPad to watch videos on my TV. I have also used with my iPhone but the connection isn’t as good.

We just moved into our new home and needed a way to watch tv before our service installation. We used this to connect our phone and display on the tv. This worked perfectly after an off-brand one wouldn’t work. Worth the money!

The knockoffs you get don’t work - there must be some chip inside that lets Apple’s official dongles actually work with these peripherals. Expensive but worth it.
