I am able to plug it into the back of my tv and watch different apps right from my phone! Great product. Although way too expensive. Still a great product.

Great Idea

As I do not have a cable outlet in my home office, I can watch whatever I like from my my cable provider app on my iPad or iPhone. I have an Apple TV but, the airplay doesn't work very well, if at all, so this was a great solution.

What I needed

Instead of having to watch a show on my desktop, I can put it on my iPad and watch it on TV instead. Also have used for camping in campgrounds. I'll rent a movie on iTunes and watch it on the 24" TV in our trailer versus watching on the iPad Mini screen.

Perfect for viewing your movies

However it now being used primarily by my toddler to watch her iTunes movies and Kids YouTube on her TV. If you don't have a smart tv this is the perfect way to convert yours to one.

Nice Apple cable!

I had a cheap HDMI to Lightning Bolt alternative before. It worked for a while and then suddenly stopped working. And apple lightning cable adapter can work for long time.
