The off brand adapter I had also received did not work with my iphone or MacBook. Once I purchased the Apple adapter all of my issues were resolved.

3rd party adapter stopped working after ios update

After the update the 3rd party adapter was no longer supported and I put it in the trash.

Just what we needed

We bought the adapter, because we have unlimited data on our phones. We are impressed with how great it works. It was worth the purchase.

It Works...but is OUTRAGEOUSLY Expensive!!

It enables me to project a photo or video onto my TV or to an LCD projector via an HDMI cable. But really, it's just not worth the price! When will the day come that Apple stops price gouging its customers?

If AirPlay gives you errors...
