Some apps do have issues but for the most part I can get them to work. Remember to increase the viewing resolution for each app to work best with your HD tv.

It is compatible with Honda apps and has a port for the lighting cable, so that the phone can charge while using the navigation, which depletes the battery quickly, and other apps.

It seems to keep a connection for a few minutes and then disconnects without warning. This seems to be related to the flexible cable section of the device. Disconnection of signal was reproducible when flexing the cable. There is probably a defect somewhere with the connection within the flexible cable section.

The generic brands ask for to many privileges to work. This one does not and is reliable to leave connected to the tv all the time. Great product.
