Purchased to attach to home television works great. Added bonus can charge as you are using. Very useful.

Simply connect it with your HDMI to your TV or other device and watch on big screen, it's pricy but works well.

Does exactly what it is described to do. An easy plug and play device. Easy to use and still works great with my older iPhone.

The lightning digital adapter works, however, you have to configure it with your tv using the correct HDMI input port. I now enjoy using it and when I make Facetime calls to family members, I mirror whats on my iPhone to the TV. They are amazed and some are going to purchase this Apple product for their own use. I give the product 5 stars.....use only the Apple product. thanks.

This is a device that allows you to mirror whatever is shown on your iPhone. There is just some lag on the video quality at times especially live sports that are mirrored to the TV. Not sure if it's the HDMI that I've been using but I will have to purchase a faster HDMI and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise this is nice to have when you travel a lot and don't want to bring along a Roku/Fire streaming stick to watch streaming movies. This is just an expensive item for it's purpose. Just like with any Apple products.

great adapter that lets you connect your ipad or iphone to a tv while charging it at the same time. the price point is quite high, so for only a little bit more you can get an apple tv and connect to the tv wirelessly

Love the ability to show off pictures and videos on the iPhone. Works great with an HDMI cable. Would give 5 stars but it is a tad spend (approx. $50) for a small adapter. Darn you Apple! Otherwise, highly recommend.

Its soo easy to plug to your tv! It all has an extra slot to charge your phone while connected. Extremely satisfied!

At the time I bought this, I also bought a 3rd party adapter on Amazon that was less than half the price of the Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter so I could compare them. The first thing we noticed is that the 3rd party adapter had a substantially poorer picture quality on a 4K TV. Next, I tried both adapters running Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Prime TV, and the Xfinity TV app on my iPad Pro, and running them to a 4K TV. All of these streaming video apps worked with the Apple adapter except for the Xfinity app. None of them worked with the 3rd party adapter, it only worked with showing the iOS home screen, regular apps that don't stream video like Keynote and PowerPoint, and with iOS Safari. I think it is a shameless rip off that Apple even requires this adapter and won't put sensible ports on their iOS devices. And I think Apple severely overcharges for the adapter. But it does work, and works with everything I tried except for Xfinity TV.

No doubt about quality and performance from original products. I do consider a bit high priced though

This adapter is the real deal. Even in Mexico’s long as you use your cellphone data you can bypass the geographic restrictions and you can indeed watch Netflix US, Amazon Prime US, and the rest. As long as you do this it will work. For the other things you can use the adapter to mirror what’s on your iPhone to the TV as well. Buy the original and not some knockoff of the internet.

Works good, does exactly what we wanted. Easy to use and good picture quality.

Works very well and displays content from my phone onto the TV screen in sharp detail. Easy to setup as no steps required other than to change tv input to match HDMI. This is especially helpful when streaming on my phone and I don't want to use WiFi to mirror it to the tv. Very neat accessory. Third party ones do not work at all.

Awesome adapter and great quality as you'd expect. I got it to hook up to hotel tv's and watch Netflix and whatnot, works perfect for that. Only issue is the price, it's a bit steep for what it is.

Easy to use and works right out of the package. Good size and works with Ipads back to 4th gen.
