Functional adapter from Apple to HDMI

Adequate solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this so that I could watch downloaded Netflix content in my Travel Trailer on it's TV. The adapter works, but puts a "letterbox" around the screen image, effectively shrinking the size of the image displayed on the TV screen. I needed a non-wifi solution, and this does the trick. I just wish it didn't shrink the picture size.

I advise user to use charger along side the adapter, to sustain the battery, because alone, it drains the battery faster, outside of that it works beautifully.

Disappointed to find out that Comcast has figured that out and blocked such an approach. Why it matters how I watch when I pay for the service is just another pet peeve - so not long before goodbye Comcast and hello somebody else
