I found this adapter by chance while searching for the most economical way to use the online cycling game Zwift. The adapter allows me to use my iPhone and a secondhand TV (cheap!) instead of what would have had to have been a new laptop (Windows or Mac), or an Apple TV and a secondhand TV. So far, the adapter...and this specific application are working just fine.

It does what it is supposed to do so I can watch Game of Thrones. However, it no longer works on one of our devices since upgrading to the newest OS soooo as typical with an Apple device...you pay a lot and get the bare minimum.

Got home and plugged it right away to my iPad2 and connected my Sony hdmi to it and it worked. You can connect your charger so while its connected to the tv it's also charging.
