    The cost is just too much for me to recommend it unless you plan to use it frequently. Best to get a 3rd party version.

    Worked great to show a movie from Apple TV on my iPhone to an Epson HD projector. We have also used it to play YouTube videos from an iPhone to a TV.

    I really want to love this product but due to whats been happening often i dont like it as much. It has a connection error most of the time. I plug it into my iphone and it doesnt show on the tv screen.I patiently wait like a few minutes and it still wont show up on the tv. I have to diconnect it and connect it a few times for it to work. I payed too much for it to not work properly.

    For whatever reason I confused "Lighting" with "Thunderbolt" and thought I could plug a Thunderbolt connector into it. That's not the case, so Apple owners beware.

    Use this a lot at work to stream Netflix from my phone to the tv. The cords aren’t the greatest. It’s my second one and if you bend them at all they go bad.
