Bought this item to cast HBO and Netflix from a iPhone XR to a Samsung NU6900 without wifi or internet. It works great but I thought the lightning port next to the hdmi port would allow the use of a charger while casting to the TV, apparently not. Still, it allows me to stream content from my phone to the TV flawlessly.

This was exactly what I needed! I am a teacher during remote learning and I needed to be able to use an external monitor while on Zoom. My computer didn’t have an HDMI port. This product was great! I can charge my computer at the same time as teaching on Zoom with an external monitor!

Excellent product for what it is. Certain services won’t work 100% of the time (Netflix had an episode that would not work but the rest of the series worked just fine) but this is clearly not the products fault. Overall the product does work as intended and I am satisfied with the purchase.

This Apple adapter is all you need to watch movies on any TV. Got this so I can project my Amazon Prime video to my non-Smart TV and it works as designed. I had a similar one for my original iPad and it also worked fine. It is an Apple product so is not cheap but have tried different non-Apple products (like chargers) and while they might work initially they eventually stop working after OS updates.

I love using this Apple Adapter to connect to my Samsung 32" HD TV because I get to watch WWE Network on my TV now. Before, I was forced to watch WWE Network straight from my iPod Touch 5th Generation 32 GB. Now, I can watch it on the bigger screen. It's nice because I can now watch it from my own home (instead of going to Starbucks) & I also don't have to lean my head down for 3+ hours.

I use it to connect my iPhone and/or iPad to hotel TVs when on the road. Works great!

Bought this to hook up my iPad to the tv. Works good. Cord is a little short. Thought at $55 it was a little on the expensive side

Hooked up to an extra tv in my home gym. Plays everything from Netflix, Amazon Prime, to anything you can think of. Mirrors anything on your phone or iPad. Extra lightning port allows you to charge your device while playing video! Don’t go cheap with other manufactures, they might not be able to play Netflix or Amazon Prime.

My wife just had knee replacement and I needed a way to hook her iPad up to the TV via HDMI. Since there is just the one Lightning connector I was worried about keeping it powered but this adapter was perfect.

Works as described. Compatible with multiple devices.

This connector is simple to use and works perfectly. Don't know why it is so expensive.
