This device has made a huge difference for our family, with kids having a demand for using multiple Apple devices for Zoom instruction and using HDMI monitors and TV's. It has worked well for us on a gamete of devices from a 1st gen iPad mini, to an iPhone 6s, to an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Don’t limit your summary line. I don’t need the aggravation. Apple could make the line stronger, so that the bending of the line into the device does not fail costing another $55. Either that or do nothing and charge $25 since you are going to have to replace it fairly soon. Probably about once a year. A little pricey for the consumer. A flaw that could be fixed easily. They could just x wrap some duct tape around it. Duct tape even comes in white. What a coincidence.

I bought this because I wanted to be able to hook my iPhone and iPad to my tv. While there are cheaper models from other manufacturers, I chose the Apple one because I saw reviews of others that were less than stellar. I also know that Apple stands behind there products and if I have a problem I can just take it to the Apple store and they will replace it

Excellent! Connects phone to the tv with ease .i was able to watch an app they don’t have for tv yet on from my iPhone by using the cable.

Good product but way over priced. Very small cord for nearly $50!

I go camping in the Mountains frequently and I never have service. This is where the adapter comes into play. I download movies onto my phone and then connect the adapter. I then plug it in to the tv in the camper. Works great, good picture and sound. Really helps since i bring my kids. Never know when its going to rain.

Great quality and you can pull up anything on your tv from your phone.

I use this to connect to tvs when I'm on the road & want to run Netflix or some other video. Note that you will need an HTML cable as well. If the signal speed coming into my phone is fast enough, then there is no issue getting a great signal on the tv screen. I do think the unit is stupidly expensive, but that's Apple's price-fixing, not BestBuy's fault.

Over Priced but Works well Nothing special though!

I use this all the time when I travel. If I need to present something for a customer this works wonderfully. I also have an HDMI adapter that allows me to present using VGA port if HDMI is not available. I also use this a lot in my hotel rooms when I travel if I want to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. It displays those apps really well from my iPad to the TV.

After much discussion about how to set up the vehicle Rear Entertainment System on my new Honda Odyssey, Best Buy provided a connector that connected my iPhone to my vehicle’s RearEntertainment System which allowed me to retrieve all movies and TV stored in my iPhone...now, my vehicle’s Rear Entertainment System works great....

This adapter is useful for anyone wanting to mirror their apple devices on tv with a HDMI compatible tv without the use of an internet connections. It worked perfectly for Netflix, Hulu doesn't work as well though. It is a simple fix for anyone who has a poor internet connection and wants to stream or project an apple product with a lighting adapter.
