This little connector has been all across the country with us. We usually had issues trying to watch what we wanted while traveling. So we only used our phones. Now we can watch anything on the tv. Love this little device.

This little adapter really makes a huge difference when RVing. You use your iPhone like a ROKU stick and with it can mirror anything on your iPhone directly to any TV with HDMI. Works like a charm. Opens up endless possibilities for entertainment and/or educational things you can do on the big screen.

Needed this to connect my iPhone & iPad to TV. I've used it several times (along with HDMI cable) and it does the job. Wish there were a cheaper option.

Bought this to connect my iPhone to the Vankyo V360 projector. Worked great. Had to buy it at Best Buy because Apple Store will not allow you to go into the store without an appointment. Easier to shop at Best Buy. Helpful staff and have all of what I was looking for.

it does what it is supposed to do kind of expensive for what it is. but that's what a apple product is i guess

Must have dongle if you do any presentations from an iOS device. I also use an AppleTV for wireless screen mirroring without cables, but sometimes there are issues, so this adapter is a must have for reliable connections, even if you have to deal with cables (hdmi plus lightning to USB for power).

This adapter allows me to adapt an iPad to my TV to stream Netflix or simply to display using the TV as a giant monitor for the iPad. Has been an excellent tool especially since the TV isn't one of the newer "ROKU" tv's. Very easy to use, even for a low tech person like myself.

I work almost exclusively from an iPad Pro. And I love presenting from my iPad because it allows me to use the iPad as a "confidence monitor." Many conference rooms at work have Airplay devices, but not all of them. So this comes in really handy. Don't buy after-market adapters. Get Apple-branded ones only. I've been burned more than once.

Least expensive way to put video on your TV from your iPhone or iPad. Do you have movies on your iPhone or stream Netflix? This is the perfect way to view those videos on most televisions. Apple iOS supports video out and this adapter plus a HDMI cable is all you need. This adapter will also charge your Apple devise. I use this to stream Hulu and Netflix through my trucks back seat video system.

I bought this so that I could use my iPad and iPhone on my HDTV using the HDMI input. It was an easy connection, though it does require your own HDMI cord. The resolution of the image was excellent. This is a great way to mirror your device on an HDTV when you don't have an Apple TV.

I disconnected my cable and internet because I was changing providers. I needed something that I could use to connect my iPhone 5s to my tv. This was perfect. Very simple to use and the extra USB port for charging was just the icing on the cake. I have 3 toddlers, needless to say the tv is pretty much on all day

I bought this adapter because I wanted to use my iPad Air to play iTunes and Flixster videos on the hotel room televisions when I travel. It works great for what I want it to do with no lag time or stuttering using an Amazon Basics $5 HDMI cable. It is a bit pricey, but no more so than usual with Apple accessories and for how much I use it it was well worth it. The only fault, and I would call it more of a quirk, that it has, is that sometimes the iPad will display an error saying that it cannot play protected content the first time you try to play the movie after connecting the cable, but if you close out of the error message and push play again it works.

If you are looking to take your iPad and view your pictures, videos, and other Apps on your HDTV, this is the device you will need. The connection to the iPad is secure and the HDMI connection is as well. The video quality is excellent. Plus, you can charge the iPad while using the adapter. It comes at a cost but is worth it if you don't own an Apple TV.
