Having connection issues with this adapter already, very disappointing for the price it was.

Perfect for what I needed, connecting phone to tv.

This adapter did exactly what it was supposed to do. I used it to hook up my iPad to hotel tvs to watch movies on the road. However, what i didn't know is that the iPad sends out 4:3 screen size through HDMI so i had a box screen in the middle of the tv. Not what I wanted so I returned it. Seems to me the iPad should send out 16:9 when you use an HDMI adapter but it doesn't so I don't really know why anyone would spend $60 dollars for this little adapter. The iPad does send 16:9 through apple tv I'm told but I don't want to carry that around.

This cable works perfect with my tv and my iPhone!

Product worked great in the beginning then about three months after purchase it did not work with any of my Apple products to display onto my TV.

I was told by the sales associate this could be used to connect my mac air to my TV, but it didn't work. Had to return and purchase an HDMI adaptor.

did not work on multiple products of mine. tried on my iphone to tv nope ipad to tv nope... worked on some tvs but not others.

I bought this based on bestbuy.com reviews, not apple.com unfortunately. I bought this to play downloaded Netflix content on a tv and it doesn’t work. Netflix menus, chrome, everything else works fine. But only audio comes through the tv when you try to play something. According to the apple.com reviews this functionality (in Netflix and other apps) broke after the iOS 11 update and hasn’t been fixed. Don’t buy this until there are new reviews saying the bugs are fixed.

Does not work with Amazon Prime. Works to mirror other internet sites. Just not sites like Netflix and Prime.

This did not work well with my iPhone X. It was difficult to use and took forever to hook up. It worked once. Maybe it was just my phone.

Purchased product to watch Direct TV via IPAD on a TV when traveling. Worked great until either Apple or Direct TV shut it down to watch on a full size TV. Both blame the other.

For the money it's honestly a better investment to buy an Apple TV than too buy this adapter...

Fullscreen doesnt always working now. It will work then stops spraeically. Some apps are alright others throw up an. Error message. I checked with apple and theres an issue with the 16.0 and jusging with by the tone of techs ot sounds like…they have zero idea whats wrong. Its not worth the hassle, return or just dontt buy.

Was really disappointed with the gps, on my recent trip to Mn it was not able to locate the right roads, it pointed me to wrong locations. At times it pointed that I need to get the nearest highway to get my location. I had updated my gps with most recent maps before my trip. I felt that the gps was not able to locate the satellite most times. It was a big city and not able to get signals in a city was disappointing. I was able to use my iPhone Google map service which was free and better than this gps. I will not recommend this Gps when you are going to a new city.

Now I can watch Netflix without anything else neededk

Apple gouging us with adaptors is the not avoidable. All you can do is grumble. So I'm grumbling. If you need one of these, just buy this apple one so it doesn't act up on you.

We bought this cord to hook the iPad to the kitchen tv and watch the news. Simple right. Well for a few weeks yes it was simple. Plug in and it mirrors the iPad simple enough. Then nothing will not work tried unplugging and plugging then iPhone and new tv? Still nothing. Bought another cable 2 month later and it was the same. Worked wonderful for about 2 months then nothing again. Very odd for a cable that was only moved to plug in the Apple product we were at the time using. Also not one cord but two? Almost wish my phone was Samsung for screen mirroring options :/. Anywho just a thought if wanting to buy this. It doesn’t last long and you will be buying new cords often.

Apple is not the most consumer friendly company. And their products often require adapters to work.

I purchased this item for our dumb tv. I haven’t even opened it up yet to connect it to the tv. I don’t know how easy it is to use.
