I was able to get the picture on the screen, but it disappeared on my I-pad. It should have been both places so I could still control things using the I-lad.

If you have HDR movies on your device, it will not play them. It only plays standard definition or high definition WITHOUT HDR. Just a heads up!

Bought this so I can play movies from my phone on the tv. I can get Netflix to transfer but for some reason it doesn’t have the rights for Hulu.

Bought this for my garage home gym set up. It was a hassle getting all the stuff set up. Wheni tested it at first i thought it was working for what i wanted. But once i finally connected it to my phone I realized a lot of streaming apps don’t work using this. Kind of defeated the purposed for streaming shows in the garage so i just forked out for another apple tv instead.

Works good but when trying to watch DirecTV a message comes up HDMI output not supported. Like. Really. That's the reason I got it !!!!

First of all let me be honest, the product works as advertised. But as with all Apple products, you HAVE to get adapters and they are very expensive! Apple continues to make their products NOT universal so you have to pay exorbitant amounts for their stupid adapters. If I didn't get an ipad for free I would never own any Apple products!!!!

This was returned. I was trying to use for Mac Pro and it did not fit. I returned for another product that did fit.

These things only seem to work for a few weeks before they have connection issues. I’ve owned several now.

we went in knowing what we wanted, the sales person was not very helpful comparing the features of the different products. bought what we came in for.

For the price point the cable under performs. It allows screen mirroring to your tv but apps like ESPN with ESPN+ do not function.

All this $50 adapter does is showing the desktop of the phone on a small portion of the screen. Useless, over-priced, and next to nothing added capability. Another product that's made solely to sell other services and devices to the user. Don't waste your time. I returned it one day after I received it.

It’s a really good adapter to watch all kind of video but sucks cause don’t have a charger

the adapter by itself is very small, make sure youre hdmi cable is long enough to have your device in stable position . in retrospect it has very limited use

Was disappointed it won't charge while playing thru the HDMI port. But other than that great quality video.

We purchased this device with the intent to cast to a computer monitor, but also to work with the Elgato video capture. Although it functions at a basic level, there were periods of lag when recording video. Product didn’t work well for us.

Although hdmi adapter, the picture quality was not good as expected. Also some video transfers did not fill the tv screen. Somewhat of a bummer.

some issues with sound transfer ended up returning however overall product was ok

What more adapters do Apple wants it to purchase. I hope the display is not going to be an add on!!

Extra dongle always painful. But no other choice . Quality is ok

It’s not what I need for i memories pics and old videos I had refused but didn’t get to see them very bad quality. I’m sure the product is fine but why buy it if it’s useless
