    This is an absolutely worthless product. If you were considering purchasing this so you could watch live sports on your TV through a mobile app, which doesn't have restrictions or asks you to login with your cable provider ID, don't do it. Apple allows app developers to disable Airplay, which is needed to send the signal from your phone app to your TV. So, you can watch it on your phone, or you can pay for cable/streaming service, even for things that are on the four major networks for free.

    Bought this to adapt iPhone to Samsung TV. Despite spending a lot of time messing with settings TV image is about the size of the iPhone screen. Not helpful. Best Buy would not take return because I was about 2 days past their cut off. CAVEAT EMPTOR

    It does what it’s supposed to, but it is fragile. The cord is not meant to be bent. If it’s bent a few times, the cables inside begin to break and you either get no sound or no video. It’s one of the only options, but the quality needs improvement.

    Bought this to hook up ipad to tv to watch additional channels on Comcast since relative only had basic channels (I have the Comcast App on ipad). Used the HDMI cable and hooked everything up. Did not work. While at the store, I asked the sales person numerous times if it would work with Comcast was assured it would. Returned the item.
