||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.But, the quality from apple will have you kicking and screaming about the price tag.... it works great until the connections internally begin to fail, I've gone through about 6 of the connectors and they all fail due to or shoddy workmanship or design. What else can you come to accept from apples accessory line?

Good for limited time

I went to apple store and they replaced it as it does have 1 yr warranty. Sure enough it breaks down again, for next two replacement attempts. They need to come up with a newer version.

Would not recommend

It will either play sound and no video, play the sound and a pixelated video, play the video and no sound, or just show a loading circle forever and play nothing. I have an hdmi adapter for my usb-c port on my laptop and newer generation ipad and it works perfectly. Would not recommend this adapter.

So So Product

I have horrible internet where I live so use my cellular data on my Ipad. These serve purpose and are good for watching TV from you IPad, but I am on my third one in a little over a year. They usually quit working within about 4-6 months.
