    It plays Netflix from my phone to a monitor. The iPhone does not function with the product plugged into it. I start the movie then hook it up. I have an iPhone 8. Product ok..

    I bought this cable to connect my phone to my TV, but it just didn’t work. I tried it several times and didn’t work I only had sound but no picture.

    This thing was an absolute piece of crap. It connected to my phone but when it was plugged into the TV everything became blurry and it was just horrible. Do NOT buy. You’re better off finding an internet service provider and a smart tv—one that can connect to Wi-Fi—and streaming things THAT way.

    Adapter only works occasionally. It seems like every time a new iOS update comes out, it stops working before Apple figures that out and issues a new iOS to fix the bugs. Also, you CANNOT rent or buy certain TV shows or movies in the iTunes store and watch them on your tv. Many have DRM issues that restrict them from being played on a larger screen. It is a joke. Don't buy it.

    I was told that my Lighting Digital A/V adapter suppose to work for Iphone and Ipad, cant even get it to work for my Ipad...I am tempting to return back to the store very soon...

    It got only 1 stars because I didn't get to use it for what it was bought for. Some movies or TV apps on my iPad cannot broadcast through Chromecast to the TV so I thought this adapter could be used for that. Nope, it didn't work. Also, it couldn't broadcast the movies I bought from iTunes to the TV.
