Apple lightning cable didn't work

Was assured this cable would work. It didn't! Tried everything. waited too long to return it, so I eat a worthless $70 cable. Never again.

I bought it because an employee said he has had his for over a year with no problems. I have to find the 'sweet spot' for it to work.

It works but it does not always charge when plugged in. The point of this is to be able to use the adaptor and charge at the same time so needless to say I don’t use it often

Once I got home and hooked up my phone I believe it only worked for 10 minutes and then stopped working . Do not buy this item , instead buy the Apple TV .
