I used this to connect my iPhone to my TV in my mini van. I makes it very convenient to be able to just download movies or whatever onto the phone and not have to bring the actual dvds in and out. I also needed an RCA to HDMI converter cable for this to work which we purchased at Radio Shack because Best Buy didn't carry it.

worked as advertised---we have an older tv and use my phone as an internet hotspot, so the cable connection was the best way for me to connect my iphone to my tv, to view netflix. easy setup for someone with little tech knowledge. youtube videos very helpful

Hooks up iPad with a hdmi cable to a “not-smart” hdtv. So far only glitching when using Hulu. A lot of times the show starts with only the audio working & have to restart show or reconnect cable to get video to also work. After that works great!

I wanted to hookup my iPhone or iPad to a mini projector I bought. This conversation piece is proficient in its connection to HDMI cables. I can view my iPad or iPhone screen through any form of view. Monitors, TVs, projectors. honestly should cost more. I’m so happy.

I love how I can charge and display at the same time. I used it all the time with my pico projector. It’s perfect. It only works with my iPad and not my iPhone but I don’t know if it’s my pico that doesn’t recognize the device.

I bought this item for my iPhone 6. I had gone many places to find this essential item for my phone and was told a lot of different ways to connect my phone to my tv because I stream a lot of things through my phone and needed to view on my flat screen tv. But the item works perfect and it's just one piece that connects to my tv with the hdmi cable.

If you have hdmi connect ability and an apple device then all you have to do is connect the hdmi cord from the tv to this adapter and connect the lightning part to your apple device and then soon you will be able to see on the tv what’s displayed from your apple device, it’s really cool

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Pricy, but you get what you pay for. I've seen these on the generic websites (non-Apple), and all are not created equal. I've been disappointed in the past by cheap knockoffs, so I've learned the hard way. Stick with the Apple-branded accessories to get the best warranty, reliability, and support.

If you have apple products, this dongle is for you. Unfortunately not everything has airplay but this always comes in clutch

This adapter does exactly what it says. Delivers 1080p video to a TV through HDMI. My wife and I use it for Netflix and Prime. Only wish it would come with a remote because we're lazy and don't want to get out of bed to pause a show every time our son wakes up crying in his bed. Price is a bit too much for something like this, but welcome to Apple!

Used to setup a full size monitor to an iphone. Easy to install and use.

Perfect option when you do not have a smart TV. This device connects to your iPhone then connects to the TV thru HDMI plug in. If you have a case you will have to remove the case for the cord to fit snuggly. An issue that occurs is sometimes you have to disconnect the plug from the phone and reconnect due to the picture not appearing. I was able to price match with WalMart so I got it at a decent price.

The only thing I don't love is the price, otherwise it's awesome

Many apps do not support this device. Works great for showing pictures videos on your phone or websites and YouTube. But many apps that you pay for streaming services do not support this device and the screen goes black on your television when you use it on your television. No advertising states it is limited on use and certain apps do not work. Bummer!
