This Apple adapter is all you need to watch movies on any TV. Say you're traveling and your iPad is linked to your favorite subscriptions (like Netflix, Amazon Video, etc) but the TV where you're staying isn't 'smart' to enable you to transmit wirelessly. This gadget connects you iPad via HDMI cable to the TV, enabling instant mirroring, to enjoy your videos on a large screen.

This device has made a huge difference for our family, with kids having a demand for using multiple Apple devices for Zoom instruction and using HDMI monitors and TV's. It has worked well for us on a gamete of devices from a 1st gen iPad mini, to an iPhone 6s, to an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

A must have device. Bought two more for my kids plus a UBS cord. Easy and simple connectivity to monitor or TVs from iPhone device.

Bought this to hook up my iPad to the tv. Works good. Cord is a little short. Thought at $55 it was a little on the expensive side

Hooked up to an extra tv in my home gym. Plays everything from Netflix, Amazon Prime, to anything you can think of. Mirrors anything on your phone or iPad. Extra lightning port allows you to charge your device while playing video! Don’t go cheap with other manufactures, they might not be able to play Netflix or Amazon Prime.

Great product to be able to plug my iPhone or iPad into the TV. Works great no issues!

Got this so I can project my Amazon Prime video to my non-Smart TV and it works as designed. I had a similar one for my original iPad and it also worked fine. It is an Apple product so is not cheap but have tried different non-Apple products (like chargers) and while they might work initially they eventually stop working after OS updates.

This little connector has been all across the country with us. We usually had issues trying to watch what we wanted while traveling. So we only used our phones. Now we can watch anything on the tv. Love this little device.

Don’t limit your summary line. I don’t need the aggravation. Apple could make the line stronger, so that the bending of the line into the device does not fail costing another $55. Either that or do nothing and charge $25 since you are going to have to replace it fairly soon. Probably about once a year. A little pricey for the consumer. A flaw that could be fixed easily. They could just x wrap some duct tape around it. Duct tape even comes in white. What a coincidence.

I love using this Apple Adapter to connect to my Samsung 32" HD TV because I get to watch WWE Network on my TV now. Before, I was forced to watch WWE Network straight from my iPod Touch 5th Generation 32 GB. Now, I can watch it on the bigger screen. It's nice because I can now watch it from my own home (instead of going to Starbucks) & I also don't have to lean my head down for 3+ hours.

I go camping in the Mountains frequently and I never have service. This is where the adapter comes into play. I download movies onto my phone and then connect the adapter. I then plug it in to the tv in the camper. Works great, good picture and sound. Really helps since i bring my kids. Never know when its going to rain.

This connector is simple to use and works perfectly. Don't know why it is so expensive.
