This is needed to link your tablet or iphone and play saved content or stream Netflix, or Amazon Video. Works beautifully.

Great in a pinch

Dad visited and wanted to watch football game on ESPN which I didn't have. Got ESPN app since he subscribed to it and plugged his iPad into my tv!
