Great for iPhone or iPad users that travel

If you’ve got apps on your phone for different TV or satellite services that you pay for this makes it easy to use an empty HDMI port to stream what you want to watch from your phone when a hotel or rental house doesn’t have the channels you want. The one trip where I forgot this in the cable in my travel bag I was able to run out to Best Buy and grab another one. I’ve even used these to stream DIRECTV to a hotel TV from my phone when I’ve been out of the country.

Funny thing is that you have to plug in charger before HDMI cable or phone does not charge. Must first plug in charger, then HDMI if you want to get phone to charge while watching TV.
