Exactly what I was looking for

But if you want a reliable lightning to hdmi adapter then you have to buy apple. Bestbuy is the only place I've ever found it on sale. Great price and it always works. The pass through power port is an added convenience. These days you can probably just cast media from your device but if you have a specific application where a cable is needed then don't go cheap just get the apple cable.

I did buy this as a refurbished item so it was discounted. I always try to buy refurbished to save some money and its always been a good experience so far.
