Worked Great For A While
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is perfect for screen sharing or watching a movie from an iPhone or iPad if an Apple TV or Chromecast is not available. Definitely handy when traveling since most TVs have HDMI. Better than watching it on a phone or tablet! After a little over a year of regular use, the device no longer works. Took it to the Apple store and they said it was because of an update that prevents licensed material (from Hulu, Netflix and other places) from being streamed or played on TVs or projectors. Tried a different Apple store and they claimed that I had used the dongle too much! The cabling is not frayed or damaged. I take care of my products. Just disappointed.

Worth the extra money. I am using it to watch tv in an area where cable isn't available. It has a extra lightning port to charge the iPad while using the adapter. This option works well for displaying premium channels and so far has worked perfectly on all of my premium channels. HD quality output and the picture is beautiful.
