Exactly what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It seemed like this could be too good to be true -- being able to view and listen to my apple devices on my big screen TV -- because why isn't everyone doing it? But it works. The adapter allows you to simultaneously charge and connect your device to a display using a (not included) HDMI cable. No special software needed. My only warning: disable text, skype, facebook and other such notifications if you don't want everyone in the room to read.
