This small little device is as good as advertised. It’s so simple to use, although I would’ve liked for the cord to be a bit longer just to be a bit better to work with. I love that it’s small and portable so you can connect it to your smart TVs, phone, or whatever device you prefer. I also thought the price could be a little lower but I understand what a great device this is. I have used it to connect to my projector and watch movies and it hasn’t failed me yet. All in all, great overall product that you won’t regret.

Easy to use. Works well with my iPhone and iPad. A little expensive but worth it. I use this adapter to connect my iPhone/iPad to my TV and projector. The only thing that is disappointing is that this adapter does not work to play netflix videos even when I try to use the netflix app or web browser. It works with Hulu. Overall good quality.

Very easy to hook up and stream from your smart phone to any tv with an HDMI hookup. Video quality is as good as your tv. You control video play from your phone. The only thing I would like better would be if I had a longer HDMI cable (not included with purchase) so I could control from my chair. It is a little pricy but It is easy to travel with and it works great.

if you don't have an apple tv in every room, this is an inexpensive way to view your iphone or ipad on any hd tv. along with an hdmi cable, take this small device with you when you travel to easily entertain the kids. it includes a lightning port, so your device can be charged while you use the adapter to display the screen on the tv.

I prefer to use "Keynote" on my iPad instead of Microsoft's Powerpoint when putting together presentations and lectures. This little gem has made it so much easier to set up my lectures in classrooms and board rooms that have large TVs instead drop down projector screens. I simply plug the lightening port into the iPad, the HDMI cable into the TV, and the display pops up within seconds (make sure you've tuned the TV to display the proper HDMI port). Then it's as simple as bluetoothing my iPhone to the iPad and using it as the remote for the presentation. There's even a second female lightening pot next to the HDMI port on the adapter so you can plug in a lightening cable connected to a wall charge to ensure your device doesn't power down due to low battery if giving an extended lecture. Well worth the money I spent. It's also worth noting that this can be connected to a digital projector with an HDMI input and projected onto a wall. You're not limited to just TV's. You can connect the apple device to any display with an HDMI input. I've used this not just for lectures, but also for showing slideshows of family vacations and mission trips to friends and extended family so everyone can gather around at once and I don't have to post everything to social media for them to see.

Using with iPhone 13 Pro, SE, and various iPads from 2019 on, have found no issues connecting to Samsung tvs, monitors and HP monitors. Seems expensive but worked perfectly out of the box unlike some cheaper products

This adapter was simple to use and allows everything shown on the screen of my iPhone or iPad to be streamed on to the television (including Netflix, Hulu, etc.). It was definitely worth purchasing this Apple brand product; I had previously purchased an "aftermarket" version and it did not work well at all.

Accesible price, very useful and easy to install anywhere you need it. Great quality, very resilient, plus perfect size. Anyone from any age can use it at anytime. I definitely recommend it to buy, I believe everyone should have one of this at home, at the office even at the car. It was a great investment I did when I purchased it cause I use it every day. No brainer just buy it trust me you won’t regret it!

This allows me to connect my iOS devices to either my monitor of tv with a HDMI cable and i also can charge my device while using the cable. The packaging is simple so far i have had no hiccups with the device. Im sure there are less expensive options but with this product you know it will be compatible with iOS devices.

Excellent with my iPhone SE (gen 2). On first use it downloaded software (5 seconds) then the video displayed on the TV screen. I don’t recommend buying the cheaper Apple certified ones. Apple wants you to buy Apple.

This Apple - Lightening Digital A/V Adapter has knocked our viewing opportunities Out of The Park. Whatever we can get on our Apple iPhone we can watch on our TV. Watching the screen on our iPhone was acceptable only because we did not own this Apple A/V Adapter. This has changed our viewing experiences. We watch our Grandsons hockey games & all kinds of other events & programs. When we travel we can take it with us. It takes up no room & it is easy to use any place we take it. We love it & we are thrilled to have this Apple - Lightening Digital A/V Adapter.

We bought this primarily for travel, so we can project movies from our iPad to a TV monitor. However, it has also been useful at home. Just connect it to an HDMI cable and into your iPad, and you are ready to go. You can also plug your iPad charger into the unit and charge your iPad while you watch your movie, etc.

I bought a projector recently and I love to connect it to my iPad to watch movies, etc. This connector does the job well. I love the fact that you can charge your phone/iPad while you are playing movies in your HD tv or external display through this hdmi connector. Intelligent design, light weight, easy to carry..

Date: Oct. 18, 2024. This Apple brand Lightning Digital A/V Adapter aka Lightning to HDMI Adapter works excellent. I use it with my iphone 13. Whatever I see on my phone screen I see on the TV and the sound comes from the TV. You might have to give it about 5 seconds to connect, once connected mirroring is instant. I bought this because I wanted a reliable wired connection and not the wireless option from the phone. I mainly use it with YouTube. I don’t have have any paid subscriptions like Netflix so don’t know if that works with those. You can also charge your iphone at the same time your mirroring. I’m 100% satisfied and recommend the Apple brand instead of the aftermarket ones which sometimes don’t work. Thanks.

The adapter is sleek and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. Its performance is impressive, providing a seamless connection between my iOS devices and external displays. However, I did encounter some occasional issues with connection stability, which required unplugging and replugging the adapter. Awesome product from Apple. Plug and play. Works immediately with iphone and ipad. Stream movies, or look at content like pictures on your full sixe tv. Amazing. Anyone can figure it out. Just plug it in and go. Full device controll while in use. Just have to buy an HDMI cable to connect to most modern tv's. it would get a 5 gold star except it can become a little fickle after some use. Still works but sometimes you have to jiggle the cords to get it going.

This adapter worked great with my mini-I Pad. I am able to watch movies, presentations, videos, and utilize other apps from my Apple device directly to my big HD TV. It is a simple connection requiring a HDMI cable that is connected to your TV. The quality is good and your visual experience is enhanced!

I purchased this adapter primarily to stream Netflix/HBOgo to my older tv. It worked as expected, and I was pleased. However, a week or so later it began having trouble connecting and I discovered the wire below the lightning connector had begun to twist and bunch inside it’s casing. (The connection would return if I held the wire the right way). I exchanged it for a new one and thought it was a lemon. With my new adapter I was very careful not to tug, twist, or otherwise stress the wires/joints. I always layed my phone and the device flat and straight while in use. Three weeks of gentle, careful use and I was having the same problem. I exchanged the product a second time and just now (2 weeks later) I am having the same issue for the 3rd time. I know I should have purchased the insurance that was offered, but frankly, even if I had, having to call it in every 3 weeks seems excessive. I would give this product 5 stars if it didn’t break down so readily. I’m generally brand-loyal to Apple but lately they’ve been letting me down in the durability department. I will be looking for a similar product by a different manufacturer.

This interface worked well connecting from my phone to a projector as well as to a large television screen. Connected to charging at same time. Don’t know what else one could ask for. Very good product.

Easy to use and allows charging while plugged into the Apple. The adapter duplicates the device screen well on an HD TV. When used with an iPhone, the screen will duplicate with bars on the side when the phone is in portrait mode. If compatible video apps are running, the video will fill the TV in the proper orientation this also works with the iPad mini I have been using. A great addition to the tech pack for using with presentations on an HD TV or videos in a pinch.
