This machine does not have the M1 processor. You need to buy the one that does have an M1 processor if you want one with an M1 processor. This is one that does not have it. Search for "mac mini m1" to get the right one. This isn't it. This is the one with an Intel x86 processor (the Core i3). It is obsolete. Only reason to buy this is if you made a mistake by doing so.

This was not working beautifully with other apple products like Apple TV and HomePods. Does not worth the $$$.

Bad sale as I had to return it and get another iMac to make my old data all transfer. You should know this already.

First off, I had been looking to try out a Mac, because of the software that comes on it, MacOS. I had been using Apple products over the years, such as: iPad, iPhone 6, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and now the iPhone XR and Apple Watch Series 3. Love, love them! Apple makes a great product. There had been times I'd been in Best Buy or even an Apple Store to try out an Apple computer, whether it'd be an iMac, MacBook, or what not. And a month ago, I decided to take the plunge to try a Mac computer. So I bought this one. I like the fact you can use your own display, and own peripherals, (Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Speakers, etc.) From the unboxing, to the powering on, I was PLEASED. I like Apple products because they hold their value and are worth the money. If you're wanting a desktop computer and are having trouble deciding between a PC and a Mac, if you can afford it, a Mac is the best way to go. Why?? Because on a PC, you're limited to just Windows, whether it'd be Windows 8 or Windows 10 and the programs and applications for Windows only. BUT, with a Mac, you can actually run MacOS and App Store apps, PLUS you can run Windows 10 at the same time, either by Apple Boot Camp, or with Parallels Desktop. THIS IS THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, if you're wanting to go all out and spend a little money, this is the way to go. The only downfall, is the disk space on the SSD, BUT given the fact it only has 2 USB 3.0 ports, you can get a USB hub to get more ports and use an external hard drive for the space if you need more space. Love it, and recommend it!

    Windows from Mac

I've used Windows my entire life, I've always wanted to try out a Mac. I'm happy I did, I love the OS and I'm still learning how everything works. I love that I was able to keep my monitors and keyboard without having to purchase new ones. I definitely recommend trying out Mac OS if you're on the fence, I think I prefer it over Windows. It's awesome being able to iMessage and FaceTime from my desktop computer. This i3 model isn't sluggish, opens everything I need very quickly. I'm no power user so I don't need the best processor/most storage. This base model works just fine for my everyday needs.

Worst Apple computer I've ever bought. Do NOT buy.

I bought my 2018 Mac Mini in 2019. I wish I had done more research. It has horrible issues with Bluetooth and it's HDMI port that are well documented. And Apple has done nothing to fix this, and despite forums on their site, their answers have been generic and unhelpful (reset, re-format, etc.). The issue is hardware. They built a very poorly designed computer that did not shield their HDMI and Bluetooth hardware, making the HDMI port useless and the Bluetooth frequently loses connection. Wait until Apple creates a new mini, or buy a different computer.
