    Apple nailed it with the new mac mini. Replacing my appletv as a main streaming and plex media device in the loving room hooked up to the TV. So much potential in such a small device, how can it go wrong.

    This is the BEST LITTLE MACHINE from Apple that I've EVER OWNED!!! I recommend getting a Satechi to pair w/it. It's super fast, just a superb little computer!!!

    "A Compact Powerhouse for an Unbeatable $$" was claimed in a review that was admittedly incentivized by its author. But it feels like a dumbed-down Chromebox. That's because of Apple's insistence on using all of its "compact powers" on a heavily animated UI. I am happy that this thing is silent when it runs, but I like Chromebooks better because they run faster and are just as silent, and because their file management is superior to that of MacOS. So I don't recommend spending much on this device. Connected to a monitor that's lying around, it's fine for light work -- think high school papers which AI providers want to "write" on your behalf -- and consumption. Lots and lots of consumption. But it's not great for much more.

    had to set up when up moving from older mac mini (intel) to new (silicone} OS. Upgrading programs has required hours of frustrations and time. Make sure you have s Mac expert with you or easily available. Apple SHOULD include all this in an easy use form. Older printer takes many minutes to print!!!
