For the price this base model is the best computer on the market! As long as your ok with putting up with apple's crap! I couldnt sign into my apple account that I hadn't used in 5 years because i dont have an iphone. Even though I could verify my phone number and email because i didnt have an iphone I had to wait 10 days... so stupid.

I bought the Mac Mini M4 after a few weeks of researching. It's replacing my iMac which I bought 12 years ago and is still working (although not to its former glory). From unboxing to up and running was smooth and easy. Everything works great on this mac mini, and it's phenomenal that Apple was able to pack all the brain muscle of the Mac into the small factor of Mini. My only gripe will be that I would have liked to see at least a couple of standard USB-A slots, but I will be buying a dock to resolve that issue.

I had heard that 2024 model might get some upgrades over 2023 model so I waited a couple of months. 2024 model jumped from M2 to M4 chip and from 8GB to 16GB, while keeping the same price point. We added a 49" 5k screen and we now have a screaming set up. Adding all of the old account information from the previous iMac was a breeze.

I'm new at giving reviews, the only thing I can say this is a great to have a Mac mini and the one I selected is great to work with better there other products.

You cannot beat these mini macs for the price. Apple finally did the world a favor and brought us an affordable line of their quality computer hardware. The addition of 16 GBs of RAM is a welcome upgrade, but still don't know why Apple believes 256GBs of drive space is adequate for all but the most casual of users. External drives are cheap enough, I suppose and you can even get your self a thunderbolt 4 drive and you'll barely notice the difference.

The Mac mini has completely exceeded my expectations. The compact size is perfect for a clean, minimalist workspace, and macOS runs buttery smooth on this hardware.

I’ve been using the Mac mini and it’s honestly crazy how much performance is packed into such a small device. It runs smooth, stays quiet, and handles everyday tasks and heavier workloads without breaking a sweat. Setup is simple and the clean design looks great on any desk. If you want strong performance without a bulky tower, this thing just makes sense.

Very fast. Took some work to get all the (older) peripherals running with it - but that's par for the course with any new system. Very pleased.

Best option if you are going to immerse in the MAC OS world. This is a beast in a small form factor. It can handle most of the heavy processing applications and gaming as well. Do not think twice on getting this just go for it!
