Powerful, small, nice. I tried to use my Windows mouse and keyboard and it was a pain... Consider buying those as well.

I have had the pleasure of running iMacs as my home unit for the past several years. I purchased the Mac Mini to conserve space and get a huge monitor and I must say that I am incredibly pleased! It is very seamless in it's operation. It is all that I expect out of an Apple product that I have grown accustomed to!

Stumbled upon this Mac. Full Mac features without having to pay over $600.

I love the Mac-mini. It is sleek, small, and versatile. It is also mostly empty space inside, space that Apple has neglected. The Mac-mini was built with enough space inside to have two 2.5” hard disks and still have adequate cooling and ventilation for an i7 Quadcore with 16 GB of RAM. In 2014 Apple updated the mini with new processors, but took away many of the upgrade features like adding additional RAM, although one may still upgrade the PCIe SSD (hard drive / storage). However, with all of the internal space saved, Apple has not upgraded the mini to its potential nor have they reduced the footprint to match what is inside. In other words, the mini could be a fourth of the thickness or could be 10 times more powerful than it is today. A piece of advice for the consumer: Always buy the mini with the fastest CPU and most RAM that falls within your budget. Both of these extend the life and usefulness of your Mac investment.

Very easy to set up. It is my first Mac product and I am still learning my way around it. Seems to be easy to use.

This is a great affordable alternative to a full desktop if you have a good monitor and all the accessories.

It's beautiful. It's fast. It's ready to go straight out of the box. But there's no optical drive. No DVD no bluray, nothing. I don't know how I missed that in all the reviews I read and the comparisons I looked at. Yes, I do almost all my storage on flash drives or the internet now. That's not what I need it for. What about downloading new software? I like having the master copy if I need it. Occasionally, I like to buy cds, or I'm given tadm as gifts. I like to make or watch movies. I already own dvds- I use my computer for Netflix and Amazon, but also to watch a movie from time to time. Not on this machine. Now I can't send my parents a DVD so they can watch on their tv-they aren't fully reliant on the internet for their entertainment. I know that you can get an add on. My point is, I shouldn't have to. I would have paid for the upgrade optioN if it was part of the unit. Now I'm going to go buy another brand and have 2 boxes. Not the classy stylish look Apple was trying to sell me. I would have just liked the option, really.

Great computer and because of its size it can fit anywhere. Truly amazing
