I have almost no need for a computer except for writing papers and making spreadsheets. And this gets the job done. It's nice to have everything wireless. It is a bummer that you have to buy everything for it though. Keyboard, mouse, cable, monitor. Might as well buy a MacBook if having a desktop isn't your need.

I'm 62 years old. I only email and search the web. This is exactly what I needed. Very easy to set up and very easy to use on a daily basis. Small and compact too. I was able to use my old screan and old keyboard from an old HP computer.

It's a great, inexpensive Mac prodcut to use to introduce to Mac OS to my kids.

I liked the fact that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk1

I've been a Mac mini convert for 7 years now.This is actually my second and I love the more sleek compact simple design .It doesn't need a lot of space and powerful enough for my basic needs which is basically email and you tube videos.

Love the compact design.. easy start up. Can't go wrong with Apple products.

This MAC has all the power of the integrated Apple computers without the high cost of the Apple display. It drives a Hi-def TV well. Unless you are doing hi-res photography or similar art work this compact computer coupled to a low cost hi-def TV is a good option. The only issue is the relatively small number of USB ports, but there is only so much you can jam into a tiny space.

Just as expected works perfect. Small and light for easy storage

This mac mini is perfect for surfing the web, word processing, and even having fun with imovie/iphoto. If you can afford the flash HD...get it! that's when these little machines become little beasts and can run photoshop and edit 20-30mb files no problem.

This Mac Mini performs as advertised and expected for a 4GB RAM, 500 GB traditional (magnetic, spindle) hard drive. Prefer the older Mac Mini which were user upgradeable for RAM and HD. For the money, it works. I would recommend spending a little more for a low end Mac Book Air to get the SSD (and portability).

We are using this for a digital signage player. It runs 24/7 with no issues.

My parents both use iPhones, iPads, and one of them has an Apple Watch. Eventually they needed a desktop for casual use. The Mac mini became the least expensive set up that offered a great user experience and connectivity across Apple devices. My parents couldn’t be happier by how easy setup was and also by the fact that everything just works.

It's not meant to be a world beater, and it's not. It's a ton of performance in a very small form factor at a rock bottom price. Replacing a 10+ year old unit with too small RAM and too small HD. No fuss, no muss, just plug and go.

This is a nice computer. The design is ideal but its not worth purchasing for the price it retails for just because of the hardware. You can get a computer that is way stronger for this price range. If the Mac Minis were priced lower about $150-$200 less then this would be so amazing. This mac is great for your basic daily tasks (checking emails, browsing the web, watching videos etc). But this Mac Mini is by no means a video editing computer given that it uses an under powered DUAL CORE i5. Also consumers must note that this Mac Mini is more restricted than previous models as in you can't open it to make upgrades.

Set up simple ... getting used to MacOS again after years of Windoze.

Mac-mini is the perfect solution to having a power-packed mac in a compact size that will hook up to mac or other brands of monitors, keyboards, printers, mice, etc.
