This is the computer to buy. Very happy with my mac mimi

I found myself frustrated with this purchase because I could not upgrade the RAM myself. Apple has made it so the RAM is installed by them and cannot be upgraded so what you buy is what you get. I don't think that is right. You should be able to add your own RAM to your purchase. I can't figure out why Apple would so something like this.

Enjoy this Mac mini, I had surgery and was could not move around too much, my other half bought the Mac mini for it to be set up in the bedroom with Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard and would not have to worry about a charge cord if I had a laptop with me

First time Apple purchaser. Exactly what I expected.

I bought this to save money on a Mac and still have the experience of a Mac but it was just way too slow so I returned it. It's a good option for iPad deployments.

At only a third of the cost of the cheapest Mac desktop, you can't expect the Mac Mini to be a "powerhouse". But this a great little machine that has no trouble getting the job done, in a sleek, compact design, perfect for an uncluttered workspace.

Low specs but for a Mac this thing is good. Runs apps smoothly! Safari is responsive and I love watching YouTube in full screen on my 32 Samsung. Make sure to buy a keyboard mouse and display to use with this device.

Very nice Mac. Using 32"TV. I work in a high school so this makes for a nice option.

This product has been everything I hoped it would be!

The Mac mini provides a alternate way to start up a desktop at home for a cheaper price. Connect your own monitor/speakers and you have an apple desktop. Memory storage not too high but utilize the cloud and any flash drive if you want to load up.

This has been HANDS DOWN the WORST computer I have owned in the last decade. I had a Mac book pro some years ago and last year it finally bit the bullet so for a replacement I ended up with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and was completely blown away by it, now that is hands down the BEST computer I've owned. Now for the mini... I recently got into photography and bought photoshop, drawback was the surface pro does not have enough RAM for it to run properly. Since I know a lot of photographers use a Mac product for editing that was where I began leaning towards. After talking with the Apple specialist in store I was pretty confident that the Mac would be a good way to go for me as well. Now since I got rid of iPhones years ago and only essentially need this computer for light photo work and very light usage for internet, streaming, etc I was drawn into the Mini for the price point, because of aforementioned items, didn't feel it was necessary to spend 1k on a machine when I had recently spent that on a lap top that was going to have day to day usage. BIG MISTAKE! This computer is painfully slow to boot followed by constant slow downs and lag during use. Since this unit is 100% sealed there is very few options to improve this thing. I was looking forward to getting another Mac and see what they had improved upon over the years, now I regret it every time I turn this thing on. Completely disappointed and seems like Apple support has become essentially non-existent. As my title says, either spend the 1k on a Mac product or walk away from them and go with PC. Definitely a lot more bang for your buck and upgrades are pretty much endless.
