Economical option and still a Mac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a replacement to my wife's MacBook air. Her computer was broke by our younger children. This gave us a computer that was a Mac without having to pay for a MacBook and is easier to keep out of the children's hands.

great processor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product. All I had to do was plug in my Dell monitor and turn it on. It walked me through the set up and seamlessly found my wireless keyboard and mouse. True to all Apple products this is an innovative unit.

Incredible Quality and Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast and efficient system. Great for main computer or a second computer for business or the kids. Remember, you still need to buy the peripherals seperately- mouse and keyboard. You can't miss on this computer.

Nice Mac for the Price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using a Mac since the late 90s. This is my first desktop Mac to own in about 8 years. I have been exclusively using the MacBook Pro and Powerbooks, but was tired of managing the storage and docking to print on my Epson 2200 (old school but great photo printer). I bought the middle Mac Mini to use as a front in for the printer and storage drives, but after using it a while, I realized I missed having a dedicated desktop. So, the negatives on this model are well documented - no upgrade for RAM and a very challenging process to upgrade the storage. It is a little clunky in comparison to my MacBook Pro, but that is to be expected. What I am enjoying is having a computer in my home office that is always on and ready. I am using it for media playback, photo printing, video editing and general Internet use. All works fantastic. Gaming is a different story. I can run Blizzard games fine, but in the low settings. Still enjoyable, but... So, if you are looking for an inexpensive Mac, this mid range model is the way to go. I do wish Apple had left some upgrade paths in mind and maybe a few extra USB ports.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a former PC user I am very please with my Mac. It was easy to installed and no worries about popups, Mal or Adware and no need to add on expensive Anti Spyware programs. Easy to navigate once you get the hang of it

Full Mac software at an affordable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. I bought my Mac mini to replace my desktop PC. I love the portability and the functionality. I haven't tried any games on it at this point so this review isn't complete, however I will say that having a full set of Apple pieces (iPhone, iPad and now Mac Mini) has increased my productivity greatly.

Great compact computer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Mac Mini is a great replacement for our old G5/MacPro tower. It does everything we need for a new computer while still using our old monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse. Very cost efficient that way. Love it!

Great way to get into the Apple line-up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not want to drop a ton of money, but wanted an Apple product rather than a PC for home use. I already had a monitor so the Mac-mini was the purfect fit.

Never looking back...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm new to Mac. Was apprehensive at first. Several friends told me it was time. Chose this because it is low end of Mac's. Could use my monitor, mouse and keyboard. Setup was so simple. What was I waiting on?

Apple Newb
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I'm learning to code iOS apps through Udemy, which requires Xcode for the course. I won an iPad in November and have been interested in Apple since. The last computer I bought was a laptop in 2009 for slightly more with the same specs. Windows was popping up saying I had an unlicensed version, which was false, so I left. The computer itself is good, though overpriced for what it is. Everything is just so much cleaner than my PC. I like the aesthetics. I now have it running with 2 ASUS 24" monitors and the setup is just massive. It's handling everything so far, but it isn't blazing by any means. When I run the iPhone emulator, it takes a little bit longer than the professor who is on something older, but nicer. Putting in an SSD will make it a little bit faster I've read, though that will be another $70-$180 depending on size. Overall, just Mac vs PC, I like the transition I've made. Everything just works so far. I've been disgruntled on a PC trying to set up the required software for Ruby, Java, Python, etc so it was nice to start with Swift so easily.

Good format but older technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These units are small and run full desktop OS - MAC and/or Windows. I set mine up for dual booting as I am primarily using MAC as my main OS (on IMAC) but have been a long-time Windows user. The unit is sleek, operates quietly and has a reasonable level of connectivity for its size. I currently have mine in my AV rack connected to my large screen TV. My main gripe with this unit is that the internals have not been updated to recent chip sets and the memory is not user upgradable. Overall, if you have a use for a (relatively) inexpensive small form factor computer and do not require high-end performance than this may be the system for you.
