Thin/Compact; lightweight; fast; great graphics and audio. Love it.

We bought this as an early graduation gift for our daughter. She loves this Mac book, It’s lightweight, a pretty sky blue color and does everything she needs for school.

Design & Feel The Midnight finish looks sleek — darker tone, subtle, classy. The build is super light, the hinge feels solid, keyboard and trackpad are great as always. It’s that premium Apple feel, but still portable enough to carry around all day without fatigue. 2. Performance with Apple Intelligence Features The M4 chip feels like a leap forward. Tasks with AI-assisted features are smooth: things like Smart Summaries, on-device Intelligence, built-in Copilot-style help, etc. respond quickly, without the lag or stutter you sometimes get in lesser laptops. Even when I push a few tasks together (multiple apps, some AI features working, browser tabs open), it handles them well. Advanced AI Tasks Still Limited by Some Latency For most everyday stuff it’s great, but super heavy tasks (e.g. huge datasets, large video rendering with AI features, etc.) still take time. If you’re used to a desktop or higher-end laptop, you’ll notice a little lag in extremely demanding workflows. Learning Curve for Apple Intelligence Some features are new and subtle — you need to learn where Apple has added AI assistance (menus, context actions, etc.). It’s not always obvious. Also sometimes I wish for more user control over how “helpful” Copilot is (verbosity, how intrusive suggestions are, etc.).

I’ve been using this MacBook Air with the M4 chip, and it’s one of the best laptops I’ve had. It’s very fast for Python, data analysis, and light machine learning work, even with multiple apps open. Battery life easily lasts all day, and the laptop is lightweight and easy to carry. The display is sharp, and the keyboard is comfortable for long coding sessions. The only downside is the 256GB storage, which can feel limited for large datasets, but cloud storage helps. Overall, a great choice for developers and data professionals.

I love this computer it is fast, light, and easy to use. What I love about it is that all my other electronics connect to it easily without a fuss. I mainly use it for school and it has been amazing.

I have always used macbook Air for the lat 20 years. This one with M4 Chip is a robust machine with excellent resolution. Battery life is extremely good. Speakers are decent. Overall a great deal specially at this price.
