    We bought this as a high school graduation gift for our son since he needed it for college. I have heard no complaints about it when he has been using it.     It was a no brainer to upgrade from my older M1 to M4 air for $750. My M1 was an awesome computer that I gifted to someone, and its performance provided me with the historical data points to help make this decision super easy for me. The base model comes with 16GB RAM/256GB SSD hard drive…now that’s bang for the buck!
