In my opinion, the MacBook Air 13-inch with the M4 chip is honestly one of the best laptops out right now. It’s super fast, really smooth, and the overall performance just feels amazing. I like how the 16GB of memory keeps everything running without lag, even when you have a bunch of tabs or apps open. The screen also looks incredible—bright, sharp, and perfect for watching videos or working on school assignments. To me, it feels like you’re getting a really premium device for the price. I also think this MacBook is extremely useful for everyday life. The battery lasts so long that I don’t have to stress about charging it constantly, and it’s lightweight enough to take anywhere without feeling heavy. For school, work, or even just relaxing, it handles everything easily. Plus, since it’s designed for Apple Intelligence, it’s future-proof and ready for all the new features Apple is adding. Overall, I feel like this laptop would make things easier, faster, and way more convenient for anyone who uses it.

I think this M4 MacBook Air is my 28th Mac since 1984's first 128K Mac. It's actually not quite as thin or light as my 2013 Air (still running just fine but outdated in terms of support and apps it can run). It seems more or less the same weight and thickness as my 2000 M1 MacBook Pro. However, the Air is plenty lightweight, has great battery life compared to previous Macs, and it offers pretty much everything the average user might want. Like every Mac in recent years, it's a breeze to set up. It's easy to automatically transfer data from a prior computer, and the processor is super fast. I purchased this one for my daughter who has gone back to teaching. Just the base model with 16GB RAM and a 250GB drive is plenty capable and fast for what she needs. The keyboard is good, better than her old 2016 MB Pro and better than my 2000 MB Pro. When I replace my own MB Pro, I'll probably get the Air as I can't see a need for the extra features on the Pro line. I've always overbought my Macs and never really took advantage of the extra capability, to be honest. Visually, the Sky Blue color is a nice change, very pretty. For anyone with doubts about Macs, not a single one of my 28 previous Macs died or broke down. I still have and can boot up my 1989 Mac SE, which is a hoot for anyone who never saw one working. What happens with Macs is that over time, Apple stops updating the OS and doing security updates, and many apps no longer run of them. But you can always get 9 or 10 years out of one before feeling maybe you should replace it. Highly recommended computer. Finally, I've bought a lot of Macs at Best Buy and it has always been a great experience.

I’d give this a 4.5/5. It runs fast & smooth with the M4 chip. It’s light, looks great, and the battery lasts all day no problem. The only downside is the 256GB storage fills up quickly, but overall it’s a great laptop.
