Wanted a light laptop computer with enough memory & all the bells & whistles. Found the perfect one for the job. The MacBook Air M4 chip with 16 GB memory, 256 GB SSD fit my requirements. I love it & it has inspired me to write a novel afterwards!

However, it was my teen's first Macbook and she screwed it up by trying to migrate from a Windows laptop, which messed up the login accounts so it would not allow administrative function. Luckily, AppleCare was able to fix the issue. Yay!

It is silent, has no fan, and does not generate any noticable heat. You can use it in the most comfortable settings without worrying of overheating! Game changer for me since it has been a while since I've upgraded my laptop.

Really impressed with the performance and smooth screen. It’s like having a portable gaming PC. Battery life could be better, but overall it’s great.

So far I haven’t had any problems and I am still getting use to using the MacBook but I’m loving it so far. My battery has been holding up but will continue to monitor. I have been seeing different suggestions regarding leaving the MacBook plugged up while using it to help the battery but not sure how true that is. I would definitely recommend this MacBook. I would say the color looks more of a grey more than a blue but I’m still happy with it.
