Apple again. Easy to set up. Loading MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint was problematic and I needed help from store. It took about 30 minutes for them to figure out and install.

Alright, so I finally got my hands on a MacBook Air and honestly… I kinda get the hype now. First off, this thing is stupid thin. Like, I know laptops are supposed to be thin these days, but the MacBook Air feels like Apple just looked at a regular laptop and said “nah, make it flatter.” I can literally toss it in my backpack and forget it’s even there. Performance-wise? It’s way faster than I expected. I open a bunch of tabs, some apps, music, random stuff I probably shouldn’t have open all at once—and it just keeps going like it doesn’t care. No angry fan noises either because… there isn’t one. Completely silent. My old laptop sounded like it was about to take off. Battery life is honestly ridiculous. I charged it in the morning and used it most of the day and it still had battery left. I’m not saying it’s magic, but it kind of feels like it. The screen looks really nice too. Colors pop, everything’s sharp, and watching videos on it is actually enjoyable instead of “good enough.” The keyboard is also way better than I expected—typing feels solid and not weirdly squishy. Now, it’s not perfect. Ports are kinda limited (classic Apple move), and yeah… it’s expensive. Like “I stared at the price for a while before buying it” expensive. But overall? I’m honestly really happy with it. It’s fast, quiet, super portable, and the battery just refuses to die. If you want a lightweight laptop that just works and doesn’t complain, the MacBook Air is kinda awesome. Would I recommend it? Yeah, probably. My wallet is still mad at me, but I’m not.

5/5 Stars – Excellent Laptop for Everyday Use I recently purchased the Apple MacBook Air (M4, 2025) from Best Buy, and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. I mainly use it for schoolwork, streaming, browsing the internet, and everyday tasks, and it handles everything smoothly without any issues. The first thing I noticed is how light and thin the laptop is. It’s very easy to carry around in a backpack, which makes it great for taking to class, coffee shops, or traveling. Even though it’s lightweight, it still feels very well built and premium. Performance has been excellent. The M4 chip makes everything feel really fast, whether I’m multitasking with several tabs open, working on assignments, or watching videos. Apps open quickly and the laptop runs completely silent since it doesn’t have a fan. The screen is bright and clear, which makes watching movies or working on documents really enjoyable. The keyboard is also comfortable to type on for long periods, and the trackpad is large and very responsive. Another big highlight is the battery life. I can easily go most of the day without needing to charge it, which is really convenient when I’m away from an outlet. The only small downside is the limited number of ports, so sometimes I need an adapter if I want to plug in multiple things. But overall, it hasn’t been a major problem. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. The MacBook Air is fast, portable, and reliable, and it’s perfect for students or anyone who needs a powerful laptop for everyday use. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a lightweight but powerful computer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really like apples user in the user interface for their laptop, but the MacBook Air specifically has a lot of trouble keeping up with my daily tasks. And I only run basic programs. My recommendation is if you're going to invest the money, just buy the pro and save yourself the headache.

This MacBook Air has exceeded all my expectations. The new Apple M4 chip is an absolute powerhouse—everything opens instantly, I can multitask with heavy apps, edit high-resolution photos and videos, and it all runs flawlessly. The integration with Apple Intelligence makes the experience even smoother and more intuitive. The 15-inch display is stunning, with vibrant colors and incredible sharpness whether I’m working or streaming shows. Despite its larger size, it remains ultra-light and extremely portable, which makes it perfect for working on the go. Battery life is excellent, lasting the entire day even under heavy use. The Midnight finish looks elegant and modern, giving the laptop a professional yet stylish touch. In short: power, portability, and premium design in one package. If you’re looking for a fast, reliable, and sleek laptop, this MacBook Air is the best choice.

I’ve owned 4 previous MacBooks, from a 2014 Pro to a an M3 Air, abd thid us by far my favorite one. The Sky Blue color is really like a silvery-blue in person and absolutely gorgeous. My previous M2 abd M3 versions were Midnight which I loved, but did need frequent fingerprint cleaning. Performance wise the 10 core CPU and GPU are very fast, making multitasking a cinch. You can do anything from web browsing and watching videos, to any number of great gaming options in the App Store or from the subscription based Arcade. Even with my 15” screen it is super thin and light, making transport very easy.

I upgraded to the MacBook Air 15-inch M4 (16GB / 512GB) and I’m convinced Apple hid a small team of engineers inside it. I click something and it’s already open. I don’t even get time to regret my decision. The 15-inch display is perfect. It’s big enough that I feel important, but still thin enough to slide into a bag like it pays rent there. And somehow it’s lighter than my emotional baggage. The M4 chip? Disrespectful. I threw 30+ tabs at it, edited video, streamed music, and tried to overwhelm it out of principle. Nothing. No fan noise. No heat. It just handled everything like, “Is that all?” 16GB RAM is the sweet spot. No micromanaging apps. No closing Chrome like it’s a threat. We operate in abundance now. Battery life is absurd. I charged it yesterday. It’s today. We’re still good. I’m starting to think it charges itself out of confidence. Midnight color? Dangerous. Looks like it negotiates contracts and wins. Downside? Now I expect this level of performance from everything in my life. Including myself. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Would I tell my old laptop I’ve moved on? Also yes.

Very good product, I recently purchased the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch with the M4 chip (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Midnight) and I couldn’t be happier. The performance is incredibly smooth and fast — everything from multitasking to running heavier applications feels effortless. Battery life is amazing — it easily lasts all day without needing a charge. The laptop is lightweight and thin for a 15-inch model, which makes it easy to carry around for school or work. Overall, this MacBook Air feels powerful, efficient, and premium. I traded down from a MacBook Pro, and don't feel any impact to my day-to-day use (I'm not a gamer, graphic designer, or content creator). I also love that the M4 chip is solid state. And the processing speed compared with my old laptop is like night and day. The speakers aren't as good, but that's not a big deal for me. I don't quite get the upsides of the new (fabric) power cord, and even after a couple of weeks, I think it looks like an aftermarket item. And I'm not a fan of the magnetic power connector (ones I've had in the past broke with age). And it's a bummer that there aren't USB-C ports on both sides of the unit...but I don't feel too terribly impacted by that either. My major concerning issue is that for a new computer, I get a lot of hung up apps and spinning circles. So my fingers are crossed that I didn't buy a lemon. Love the Starlight color. Love how lightweight it is.

The MacBook Air is an excellent laptop that combines performance, portability, and a sleek design. It is lightweight and thin, making it easy to carry around for school, work, or travel. Despite its slim design, it still feels sturdy and well-made. In terms of performance, the MacBook Air runs smoothly for everyday tasks such as browsing the web, streaming videos, writing papers, and multitasking between apps. It handles these activities efficiently without slowing down, making it a reliable choice for daily use. One of its best features is the battery life, which lasts all day on a single charge, allowing me to work without constantly worrying about plugging it in. The display is bright and clear, with sharp text and vibrant. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the trackpad is very responsive and precise, making navigation simple and smooth. Overall, the MacBook Air is a great option for students and anyone who wants a dependable, easy-to-use laptop. While it may not be designed for extremely heavy professional tasks, it performs exceptionally well for everyday use. The 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip is fast, lightweight, and beautifully designed. The larger Retina display is perfect for multitasking, and the battery easily lasts all day. It runs silently and handles everything from work to light creative tasks with ease. Downsides? Limited ports and no high-refresh display—but overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone needing power and portability in one sleek package.

The M4 MacBook Air is a powerful and portable laptop praised for its excellent general productivity performance, all-day battery life, and premium build quality. It features the same M4 chip as the MacBook Pro, offering fast performance for tasks like coding, light video editing, and everyday productivity, with the main difference being its lack of a fan, which can lead to throttling during extended, high-demand tasks. Key strengths include a sharp display, comfortable keyboard and trackpad, and an improved 1080p webcam, but its limited port selection remains a drawback.

The larger screen is a noticeable improvement for multitasking and everyday work, while the device still remains thin and easy to carry. Performance has been smooth and consistent. The M4 chip handles daily tasks, multiple applications, and light creative work without any issues. With 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, everything feels responsive and storage hasn’t been a concern.
