The 15-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip lets you fly through work and play. With Apple Intelligence, a spacious Liquid Retina display, up to 18 hours of battery life, and a strikingly thin and light design, it’s built to last and can take on just about anything, anywhere.
Q: Wanting a 15" as advertised, specs list 13.4" ??
A: The MacBook Air (15-inch, M4, 2025) model has a 15.3-inch (diagonal) display. The MacBook Air (13-inch, M4, 2025) model has a 13.6-inch (diagonal) display.
Q: What kind of docking station is compatible to add screens?
A: A Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 hub can enable up to 2 displays over a single Thunderbolt port, but does not increase the maximum number of displays that you can connect. Connect the display with the highest resolution first. The MacBook Air with M4 chip supports up to two external displays simultaneously with the built-in display, based on the resolution and refresh rate of each external display. It supports one external display up to a native resolution of 8K (7680 x 4320) at 60 Hz or 4K (3840 x 2160) at 240 Hz or two external displays up to a native resolution of 6K (6144 x 3456) at 60 Hz or 4K (3840 x 2160) at 144 Hz. I have used both a Caldigit TS3 Plus and a CalDigit TS4 dock with dual 4K 60 Hz monitors over DisplayPort and USB-C.
Q: Does this laptop have a camera and microphone and will it connect to a printer?
A: Yes, the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch M4 has a 12MP Center Stage camera with support for Desk View and 1080p HD video recording and a built-in microphone. It uses AirPrint to connect to USB, Wi-Fi, or network printers. If your printer does not support AirPrint, you may need additional software to print to that printer.
A: I received the 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter and not the 70W USB-C Power Adapter.
Q: Does this have facial reconigion or fingerprint unlocking?
A: The MacBook Air (15-inch, M4, 2025) has Touch ID (using your fingerprint to unlock the computer), but it does not have Face ID.
Q: What kind of warranty is included?
A: 1-year manufacturer warranty
Q: does this have an SDXC port?
A: No, this laptop only has 2 Thunderbolt ports, a magsafe charging port, and a 3.5 audio jack. An adapter would be needed for SDXC cards.
Q: Will this work with a 3-D printers?
A: If you can use it with a 3D printer, I have one

I am a PC user and will alway be on my desktop needs. But when it comes to Laptops my choice is clearly Apple especially the affordable M4 Air. First of al performance, it is so snappy that even my 16core desktop can’t even compared. Of course if you have to render big video projects it will be little slower but when you work on the same project before you render it, is ridiculously fast. Battery is nowhere to compare with windows. I was using it for 3 days 5-6 hours a day with illustrator and photoshop at the same time each program had 3 projects running at the same time (total 6) and screen brightness at 70%. No crashes no unexpected program terminations, just pure work on completely silent laptop. By the way my Air has 16GB RAM 512GB storage and 15” screen. I didn’t try Gaming on that laptop yet and I don’t think iam going to on a laptop that is meant to had the job done anywhere but my office. And yes it is more expensive than the $500-$600 Windows laptops that every click is a questionable task. But it worth every single penny. I understand that Apple OS is little different and that kept me away for many years, but is a matter of a couple of weeks to get familiar with it. The Mac Air will probably last me at least 6-7 years before I will start considering getting a new one. Windows laptops at that price are good for gaming and for some heavy tasks but they sound like jets and depend on a power outlet 90% of the time.

I just recently purchased the Mac Book Air 15 inch for my birth day. I traded in the M1 MacBook and I tell you this thing is so fast. I got the extra storage 512 just so that I can kind of grow into it. It's perfect for all of my every day life. The set up was easy and the transferring of all of my data over was right on time. I have really been enhancing my new toy by viewing all of the tutorials online. I am an Apple fan for Life!!!! The best part about this Mac Book is the large screen..... I can take off my glasses!!!!!

Bought the new MacBook Air M5. Love it! My previous was MacBook Pro with the intel chip. The Air is faster and I bought extra RAM and upgraded storage. The Air does everything I need so I’ve saved money by buying it versus the MacBook Pro. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
