Recently retired and bought a Mac for personal use. It's taken some getting used to as my worklife was a Windows world. I highly recommend getting Microsoft Office for Mac. The only feature I've come across that I dislike is the auto backlight. I want the screen bright all the time but then you sacrifice battery life.

This is my first Mac. Across the years, I had always been a Windows user. While I am still getting used to the command key combinations, I am thoroughly happy with my MacBook Air, most especially how quickly it ‘boots up’. I also appreciate how fast the processor is and how efficiently apps run. Overall, I’m glad I switched.
